The Pharisee's Prayer

Dear God,

Thank you that I was not born a Republican,

Ignorant, unethical, low-class, warmongering,

Destroyers of the Earth.

I attend good universities,

travel abroad and speak foreign languages, and

I fight for what I believe in by

donning a sign and getting my face on TV.

Come quickly, and deliver me from the evil ones--

May your Anointed One lead our party to victory.

Amen.
